The Strategy, Delivery & Performance team at the Department of Regional NSW is currently looking for a Manager Precincts and Partnership to join the team.

As Manager Precincts and Partnerships, you will be responsible for coordination and delivery of the Regional Job Precincts program, providing strategic and program management oversight and support. The role facilitates program delivery through collaboration and partnership development across regional NSW, industry, governmental departments and agencies.

In this role, you will:

  • have demonstrated experience in leading a team and experience in managing multidisciplinary land use planning projects
  • coordinate multiple land use planning projects with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • provide high-level strategic advice to senior decision-makers on program deliverables
  • ensure all documents, reports, ministerial correspondence, project proposals and submissions are completed within required timeframes and to a high standard.
  • identify emerging issues and recommend solutions to resolve problems and mitigate risks.

Your strong communication skills and professionalism will be key to achieve successful delivery of the program in line with Government and Department policies and procedures.

Essential requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in planning or a relevant discipline and/or significant relevant industry experience.

• Willingness to travel and (minimum) Class C Driver’s Licence.
