JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Account Director, you are the ‘glue' that holds the account together, there is very little happening on your client's account that you are not aware of or involved in. This means you jump seamlessly from media planning and strategic involvement, to finance management, to investment and reporting quality control. 

Other responsibilities include:

1. Product & Innovation 

  • Work with the specialist service teams to ensure their product is integrated into the core OMD offering and free of any divisional silos
  • Provide executive oversight into the delivery of specialist services to the OMD client base.
  • Work alongside client teams to ensure the innovative use of technology and data is included within campaign planning and client output

2. Client Engagement

  • Deliver regular thought leadership to clients and agency on market changes and emerging topics, trends and commentary
  • Develop and maintain c-suite client relationships

3. Commercial

  • Working alongside the client teams to ensure the product output remains best in class and the teams are providing solutions that are measurable and aligned with the client's (and agency) ambition
  • Lead the product output within new business pitches
  • Deliver regular thought leadership to clients and agency on market changes and emerging topics, trends and commentary

4. People Leadership 

  • Create a community for the Interactive Directors and senior digital resource to upskill, be inspired and be exposed to new ways of working and opportunities
  • Maximise team productivity by clear delegation to direct reports of all tasks

  • You're an exceptional client facing communicator with excellent presentation skills
  • A proven leader who can coach and inspire a team 
  • A natural collaborator and problem solver who is enthusiastic about helping others with the ability to coordinate the output of a diverse range of specialists, ensuring their output is integrated and measurable
