Welders / Fabricators

Our client is a market leader in providing quality welding and fabrication for the construction and jobbing sector. The products that you are likely to work on include handrails, architectural steel, balustrades, stairs, structural steel and general fabrication of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium products.

LHS are currently seeking experienced Welders / fabricators located in Bayswater region for day shifts work.

• Day shift Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm, some flexibility available.
• 1 RDO per month.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Fabrication including structural, mild and architectural steel .
• Welding MIG, TIG
• Stainless steel handrail / balustrading fabricating and welding
• Fabricate components from engineering drawings or supervisor instruction.
• Use of power tools, hydraulic presses and machinery. Some heavy lifting when required.
• Maintains good housekeeping practices.

Skills and experience:

• Ideally hold a fabricator/Welder trade qualification Cert 111
• Proven MIG welding experience
• Dependable, consistent and reliable.
• Safety conscious.
• Ability to work independently as well as under direction.
• Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines.
