Chisholm Catholic College is a co-educational Catholic secondary school serving over 1700 students through Years 7 to 12. The College has a reputation for academic success and nurturing students in a well-established community of faith.

Applications are called for the following full-time ongoing position:

Communications and Marketing Officer. To lead specific marketing and communications activities for the College as well as community relations tasks in negotiation with, and as directed by the Principal, the Deputy Principal – Community and the School Advisory Council. Particular focus and expertise with digital media and marketing (videos and social media) Depending on qualifications and experience the salary range would be of approximately $60 000 - $70 000.

Required Qualifications

• Recently-attained relevant university qualifications in communications and marketing

Essential Experience and Skills

• Demonstrated experience and high-level skills in professional standard video production and editing equipment
• Help with recording through photos/videos various College activities during and outside of school hours including but not limited to the Year 12 Ball, seminars, as well as a wide array of community events hosted by the College
• Ability to upload information or data via an Open Source Platform to the College website to keep it current, including updating calendars, galleries and promotional materials
• Significant current Pastoral Care practise working with students in a culturally diverse secondary school setting
• Fluency in Vietnamese

Desirable

• Examples of documentary or marketing production work surrounding historical and contemporary projects
• Strong background and demonstrated connection to Catholic Education
