JOB DESCRIPTION

Floth Pty Limited is currently seeking a full-time Principal Hydraulic Manager to join our Perth team.

Main Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Leadership and management of Perth Hydraulic Department responsible for policies, strategies, and plans to achieve project and client requirements and organizational goals and objectives.
  • Project management of fee proposals, budget estimates, project milestones and deadlines, quality control, project completion dates, tendering conditions, and regularly reporting to senior management on project and department status, performance, and outcomes.
  • Liaison with Clients, Architects, Builders, Contractors, Hydraulic Suppliers, Governing Authorities for hydraulic infrastructure and approvals, as a representative of Floth Pty Ltd.
  • Design preparation and coordination, interpreting and advising about specifications, reports, and documentation of Hydraulic Services to meet Australian Standards/Building Code of Australia (BCA) requirements and to comply with the standards and quality expected of Floth Pty Ltd.
  • Attending project and client sites and performing measurements, calibrations, data logging, evaluation, analysis, visual observations of services, refining and upgrading standard hydraulic specifications and design templates and to determine and supervise resources required to ensure project completion and maintenance, on time, within budget, achieving project goals and client requirements.
  • Manage adherence to office drafting standards, consistent drafting quality, checks on document control procedures, and regular quality checks on work produced by CAD staff.
  • Cooperate with all measures introduced by management to minimize Workplace Health and Safety (WPHS) risks and ensure site safety through compliance with all relevant WPHS legislation, statutory requirements, working procedures, codes of practice and industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with the requirements of the Integrated Management System (IMS), IMS Policy and IMS Training Requirements.
  • Attendance at industry and professional gatherings to maintain relationships with clients and business associates for business development and keep abreast of industry research and development and current and future trends.
  • Plan, develop, implement, lead, participate and evaluate training and development strategies and programs to ensure management and staff acquire the skills and demonstrate the competencies required to meet organizational objectives.
