A technical role with our Geosciences team will provide you with the opportunity to work closely with other talented professionals committed to delivering high quality geoscience and engineering services.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Undertake assessments including data collection, interpretation of field data, site investigation planning and co-ordination, assisting with aquifer conceptualisation, client and regulatory liaison and contribution to reports
  • Be involved in field programs including drilling and aquifer testing programs, water sampling, field mapping, bore completion, contractor management and more
  • Collaborate with and learn from a team of passionate, experienced geoscientists across a variety of projects
  • Support projects as required
  • Work in a wonderful smaller company culture

For more experienced candidates, opportunities to exist for:

  • Leading specialised groundwater studies, with focus on geological and hydrogeological interpretation and site conceptualisation, leading to specialised studies as projects dictate (including dewatering, aquifer injection, contaminant hydrogeology and development of groundwater management plans)
  • Supervising or leading predictive analytical/numerical studies), large structure (WRD/TSF) assessment and mitigation studies
  • Report writing and deliverable development
  • Development, plan and supervision of field programs including drilling and testing programs, water sampling programs, field mapping, contractor management, hydrogeological characterisation
  • Project management and client management for projects and complete report writing and presentation needs as projects require. This may include leading client management, developing client relationships and identifying potential for service growth and expansion
  • Mentoring of staff
  • Contributing to marketing and business development activities

The ideal candidate(s) should have the following attributes:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology, Geology or Geosciences
  • A post-graduate degree in Hydrogeology is preferred
  • Working experience in hydrogeology encompassing field work, analysis, assessment and design, report writing and liaison with clients and regulators
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally
