The Role:

We are seeking an experienced marketing professional with demonstrated ‘technical’ Safety and Industrial Industry experience for the role of Portfolio Manager - in this role you will provide business leadership for this portfolio. Reporting to the Marketing Manager within the Personal Safety marketing team, this role will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the portfolio. 


Key functions of the role include:

  • Strategic management of the various technical product portfolios
  • Manage the marketing requirements; including product range, promotional activities and pricing strategies
  • Drive the portfolios toward their annual sales, cost and profitability objectives by providing leadership across stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Conduct product portfolio analysis and provide specific recommendations and actions
  • P&L responsibility for the portfolio.
  • Working closely with our Technical and Application Engineering teams to ensure product specifications are aligned to product deliverables.


The successful person will have:

  • The ability to work across functions, including technical and sales, will be critical.
  • Strong communications skills. 
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar marketing position and a strong understanding of marketing concepts
  • Degree qualifications in marketing/business
  • Degree qualified in engineering preferred due to the nature of the industries these products are sold into.
  • Technical understanding of the science behind our products.
  • Proven analytical ability and problem solving skills
