The Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Android Developer to work collaboratively with the team and help deliver leading-edge mobile applications. This role will involve designing, implementing and maintaining products along with keeping up-to-date with latest technology trends and advances. We are looking for someone who can proactively contribute to improvements and processes and demonstrate willingness to learn and enhance existing skillsets.
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience developing quality, mobile applications with experience in Kotlin. We are looking for someone with a strong Android background but also experience in other programming languages. Someone with the ability to advise on the best technical solutions within a complex environment, will be highly regarded for this role.
We are looking for someone join our team for an initial 6 month contract, working remotely from home. You could be based anywhere in Australia but will need to be comfortable working Melbourne business hours. There is a strong likelihood that this contract could be extended.
Experience And Skill Requirements
- 4+ years of android development experience and building enterprise level apps.
- Professional experience with Kotlin.
- MVVM experience.
- Data binding experience.
- Agile development experience.
- Experience in using and setting up of CI/CD environments.
- Someone who knows best practices, is not afraid to voice their opinions but is also a team player with people skills.
- Have proven initiative skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Tested ability to work in a team and deadline driven environment.
