Your new role

This is a perfect opportunity for a Broking professional who is interested in a defined career path within Insurance Underwriting across the construction & Engineering industry.

As an Underwriter you will;

• Be expected to work directly with clients and underwrite insurance policies across their construction lines within agreed authority levels and standards.
• You will understand the needs of the Construction and/or Engineering clientele base.
• Develop ongoing relationships across the Broker network, generating new leads and educating Brokers on capabilities.
• Develop relationships with the international underwriting market to obtain coverage on risk that is 'out of business scope'

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven track-record within insurance ideally within Construction OR Engineering Broking
• Passion for focusing on the development of relationships with key clients and Brokers
• Reasonable understanding of the international underwriting market.
• Keen interest in pursuing a career in Underwriting, while maintaining your broking skills.
• Excellent communication skills and experience liaising directly with clients
