The Position:
We are currently arranging interviews for Staff Specialist - Anaesthetist for one of the hospitals in Regional Victoria. This position will provide high quality clinical Anaesthetic services to the local population along with actively contributing to continuous quality improvement for effective patient care.

The Hospital:
This hospital is a modern facility with 165 beds tertiary teaching Hospital. The hospital is managed by Ramsay Health Care in a contractual arrangement with the Victorian Government and provides a range of Acute services including Emergency, Maternity, Intensive Care, General Medicine and Surgery, Oncology, Medical Imaging, Pathology, Mental Health and a range of Ambulatory Services.

The Location:
This busy regional hospital is set on the magnificent Murray River offering a great cultural experience, 3-hour drive from Melbourne and has a population of around 60,000. This city has the perfect Mediterranean climate, with higher number of warm days perfect for visiting the various cafes and restaurants or relaxing by the Murray river. It also boasts of great shopping precincts and markets along with excellent sporting and cultural facilities.

Eligibility:
To be eligible for this role, you should have FANZCA and Specialist AHPRA registration or medical experience gained in either UK, New Zealand, Ireland or Canada.
