What’s happening in Newcastle?

We have a range of services in the Newcastle region including accommodation support – providing in home support to our clients, OR our Lifestyles service which supports our clients in the community.

Our services and what’s required

Accommodation – (24x7) Providing in home support by assisting our clients at meal times, with personal care and administering medication. This service operates 24x7, you will need to be available for 4 shifts a week (Mon-Fri) across a variety of shifts (morning, afternoon and night) and one shift on the weekend.

Lifestyles – (Monday – Friday only) Companion support for our clients at social events, recreation, sporting activities, attending appointments, shopping etc in home or in the neighbourhood. This service operates predominately Monday – Friday between the hours of 9am – 4pm, however there may be shifts available outside of these core hours including weekends and evenings. You need to be available for a minimum of 3-4 days per week.

  • Have been described as an outstanding communicator who is empathetic and compassionate
  • Have a professional approach, are accountable with a high level of motivation
  • Are upbeat, energetic and think "outside the square"
  • Must have a current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum)
  • Must have, or willing to obtain prior to starting, a current First Aid Certificate, CPR, Working with Children Check*, National Police Check* and NDIS Worker's Check*
  • Must undertake a health assessment*
