After an impressive debut in 2013, the Tropicana gold mine has consistently achieved or beaten performance targets. Owned by AngloGold Ashanti Australia Ltd (70% and manager) and IGO Ltd (30%), this large-scale, modern gold operation has been one of the most significant Australian gold discoveries of the last decade.

Along with continued investment and focus on our open pit mining, Tropicana has also recently commenced underground operations at Boston Shaker.

We are now seeking an experienced Site Admin Assistant to join our Business Support and Services (BSS) team at Tropicana on a 12-month fixed term contract .

Accountable to the Site Lead: Administration, this role is responsible for providing administrative services and secretarial services to the Business Support Services and Geology department. This role is based on a FIFO 4/3 roster.

The main tasks of the roles include but are not limited to:
Provide administrative support and secretarial service to the BSS and Geology teams and contractors.
On boarding of new starters/ new contractors which includes liaising with Contractors and their administrators regarding site clearance requirements travel/ accommodation/ roster
Coordinate the review of BSS and Geology department controlled documents and procedures.
Creating purchase requisitions and maintenance requests, monitor invoicing process.
Assistance to BSS Contract Managers in contractor management compliance.
Maintain the currency of the Light Vehicle register.
Maintain Aerodrome documents ensure compliance with CASA regulations.
Updating and maintaining InfoOne Workgroup Page
Coordinating logistics for corporate and non-corporate visitors
Ad hoc tasks as directed.

The ideal candidates will possess:
Proficient in software such as SAP and INX (InFlight, InControl and InTuition)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Good verbal and written English communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure to ensure deadlines are met
A service focused approach.
Ability to work well within a team environment.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Manual Drivers Licence.
National Police Clearance.
Permanent work rights in Australia.(Mandatory)
Previous experience in a FIFO role would be advantages but not essential .
