Full Job Description
The opportunity

We currently have an exciting new opportunity available for an experienced financial management professional to join our team as a Racing Grants & Projects Co-ordinator on a full-time capacity (permanent). This role may require some intrastate travel on occasion. Reporting to the Manager Clubs & Training Facilities, you will be responsible for:

Co-ordinating racing grants application and approval process
Co-ordinating racing project grants in liaison with Manager Clubs & Training Facilities and Project Managers
Co-ordinating financial budgets and processing of purchase orders and invoices for the branch
Co-ordinating the annual Race Club and participant funding distribution model
Being the primary point of contact for Race Clubs on racing grant and distribution funding matters

About you

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the demonstrated ability to consult with diverse stakeholder groups.
Excellent written communication skills.
Sound understanding of financial management processes, including budgeting and processing of purchase orders and invoices.
Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to utilise data analysis software and advanced excel skills.
Ability to work in autonomously or as part of a team.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills, including the ability to coordinate multiple tasks with a high level of attention to detail.
Sound computer literacy skills in a Microsoft Office environment.
Knowledge and understanding of the racing industry, wagering and club activity or the ability to obtain.
