Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has presented itself for a paralegal or lawyer with experience in local government. Are you in between jobs or looking for a short-term stint? Our client requires a leave of absence cover starting ASAP for approximately 3 months. Paying $48.89 p/h and Monday to Friday full time hours.

Your role will cover:
Coordinating the legal services framework
Researching and providing legal support and interpretations
Ensuring compliance and providing technical advice on legal requirements

You will have:
Understanding of legislative responsibilities, local laws and policies.
Knowledge of the services within Local Government and the statutory framework
An undergraduate degree in Law
