About the Role:

The Key Account Manager is a senior member of our Kimberly-Clark Professional (KCP) sales team, responsible for maintaining and building market share for Key Account client portfolio in Victoria. Reporting to our Head of Sales, you will deliver against sales and profit targets by securing and growing key accounts through execution of a strategic industry sales plan. Utilising a consultative, high-touch sales approach you will consult with your clients to understand business needs and challenges to identify buying behaviour and value drivers, in order to sell-in products and solutions.

You will develop an in-depth knowledge of your customer's business drivers and performance, and initiate actions based on performance monitoring to ensure tactical plans impact sales results. The Key Account Manager will broaden product take-up across categories and will identify opportunities to expand your key accounts. You will work in partnership with our distributor management team to develop strong relationships with targeted clients, working in parallel to jointly close sales when relevant.

About you:

You are a seasoned sales professional with at least 6-8+ years of key account management, sales or business development experience within a B2B sales or corporate sales environment. You utilise a consultative and relationship driven sales approach and have superior communication and negotiation skills. Comfortable with using data to plan your sales approach, you have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales and account specific KPI’s.

A relentless networker, you can build relationships at all levels within different internal client divisions. You are open to embracing digital technology (video, social media, eCommerce) to identify leads and business opportunities.
