About the opportunity

Passionate about creating an awareness, motivation and tools to assist employees to adapt and maintain a well rounded, health lifestyle? We have a permanent opportunity for a professional to carry out work of a technical nature in the administration of wellness in preventative health!

The primary focus is to ensure the efficient coordination of education and training initiatives, supporting the Occupational Health Manager and wider business to implement a wellness program, associated events and communications based on identified wellness initiatives and goals.

As the Wellbeing Coordinator we want you to:
Work across various business functions to organise and coordinator wellness initiatives the promote employee engagement,
Analyse the effectiveness, return on investment and measures of participation, exploring ideas to personalise the Wellness Program to increase the participation,
Communicate to workgroups the purpose, goals, policies and procedures around the Wellness Program,
Liaise with the Occupational Health Manager and Risk Management team to identify health and environmental concerns, as well as the recommendations to reduce the risk,
Organise health screenings, such as flu, blood pressure, and cholesterol screenings, whilst coordinating the management of fitness or recreational facilities.

About you

To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:

Diploma in Nursing, Social Work, Allied Health, Health and Fitness, Counselling or related field,
Working knowledge in an occupational setting in the mining or manufacturing sector,
Demonstrated ability applying time management and organisational skills when planning, providing and evaluating health and wellbeing programs,
Administrative skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office packages,
A liking to working in a multidisciplinary team, with a commitment to continuing your personal development, and
Well developed interpersonal skills to foster engagement across all levels of the business!
