All international (repatriation), other international and interstate travellers (from declared COVID-19hotspots) arriving in the Northern Territory are required by law to undertake 14 days of quarantine in supervised accommodation at the Centre for National Resilience or the Howard Springs Quarantine Facility. With the expansion announced by the Prime Minister, approximately 450 dedicated employees will be employed to manage and support all those required to quarantine.

A number of roles are available:

• Administration/Business Support/Risk and Audit
• Allied Health - occupational therapy, psychology
• Nursing (N1-N4)
• Medical

Department of Health has a Smoke Free Policy. Staff are not permitted to smoke anywhere on Departmental premises, facilities or vehicles, nor whilst working off-site. To be eligible to work for the National Centre for Resilience you will need to meet the below pre-employment requirements:

1. AHPRA registration where applicable
2. Immunisations according to NT Health policy where applicable
3. Working with Children Clearance
4. Criminal History Check
5. Accept to receive the COVID-19 vaccine
6. Accept to be tested daily for COVID-19
7. Not undertake any secondary employment e.g. casual shifts elsewhere
