About You

As the Business Development distributor for our client, you will be required to work closely with high-profile manufacturers to have their product specified on tenders across the office corporate market. You will maintain ongoing showroom meetings and regular call plans with Architects & Designers.

You will be responsible for a revenue target, building on existing client relationships and developing new business clientele.

Ideally, you will have;

A background in new B2B corporate business development and account management
Strong verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and a fast learner
A results-focused outlook - going above and beyond for your clients
Have an understanding of how to establish a strong network of corporate users

The Role

In conjunction with the Director and their support team, you will establish and develop new relationships as well as prospecting of office projects in Perth for office furniture. You will work across all areas of the corporate market to ensure sales growth whilst maintaining an established customer base. This includes;

Developing new business opportunities and relationship management
Prospect, identify and leverage new customer relationships
Build a strong pipeline by generating and locating new leads
Schedule and attend face-to-face meetings with high-level decision-makers and influencers to establish new business
Presenting products and design solutions to clients with an approachable and professional attitude
Preparing detailed project documentation to clients during meetings

We expect you to collaborate with other team members on projects and to attend Design meeting and seminars where applicable which may be out of normal hours.
