ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Sales Manager to join the value-driven team. To be successful in this role you will need to have a track record of meeting and exceeding financial objectives, as well as experience leading and developing internal and external sales teams. You will need to possess exceptional stakeholder management skills and demonstrate a real passion for driving a culture of innovation, collaboration and learning.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
Working closely with senior stakeholders to develop and execute the company’s sale strategy
Managing the end-to-end sales process through to contract negotiation and deal closure
Identifying market trends and carrying out competitor market analysis to stay ahead of the game
Developing and nurturing strong relationships with existing clients
Leading, supporting and coaching members of the sales team
Regularly discussing career progression with team members, and working with them to create career progression road maps and development plans
Producing accurate revenue forecasts for new business sales and renewals
Demonstrating a deep understanding of client needs and desires
Working with other senior leaders across the group to drive top-line revenue growth

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
Significant experience in sales and commercial leadership, ideally in the automotive or textile industry
The ability to identify and prioritise stakeholders, build strong relationships and tailor communication styles to suit the stakeholder needs
Strong business and commercial acumen
Proven experience leading/coaching a high performing sales team
Personal integrity, with a confident and positive manner
An entrepreneurial mindset – with drive, initiative, energy and a sense of urgency
The ability to motivate and energise a team through trust, integrity, strength of vision and dynamism
The ability to work effectively in a team-based environment or independently
Strong communication, organisation, presentation and negotiation skills
Strong MS Office, CRM experience
A future-focused, inquisitive and open mind that seeks out evolving and innovative ways to add value to the business

You will also need to be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment and drug test.
