Full Job Description
On behalf of a well-established and successful minerals and mining processing company, NES Fircroft is recruiting an experienced Planner Scheduler for a long-term contract role based in Perth (potential to transition into a permanent role)
The successful Planner Scheduler will proactively plan, and schedule field operations works to support the safe execution of exploration and pre-construction field activities.
The Panner Scheduler role is critical to the safe and timely delivery of the project approvals and to support continued growth.

Your responsibilities in the role

Develop and implement a framework for scheduling, planning, and resourcing all field activities
Develop frameworks for program requests from internal customers ensuring quantity and quality requirements
Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders (e.g., pastoralists, local government, exploration companies, contractors, internal customers, etc) so they are aware of all key activities
Participate in contract tendering and selection process

What you need to be successful in the role

Tertiary level qualification in engineering is preferred but not a pre-requisite
Previous Planning and Scheduling experience in Australia
Exploration Mining is also preferred but a prerequisite
Relevant experience using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Projects
Knowledge of safety and safe systems of work
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
Ability to provide clear direction, guidance, and mentoring
