About The Role

Due to their continuous growth and success a very rare and exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Sales professional to join the textiles division of their sales team based out of their W.A. offices.

In this dynamic and challenging role, and working closely with the Branch Manager and GM, you will be charged with:

  • Enhancing & developing business from within existing accounts
  • Strategically targeting new growth opportunities from new accounts located throughout Western Australia.
Such customers will include but are not limited to, Mining, Primary Producers, Manufacturers and Rural Agri Business Suppliers.

Skills & Experience

As the ideal candidate and to make the transitions as smooth as possible you must possess the following key attributes:
  • Have worked with an import/trading model, with an understanding of long lead times, forecasting and sales planning
  • Previous experience within the packaging industry would be ideal but is not essential, it is more about your experiences dealing with the above-mentioned industries
  • Previous sales experience calling on Mine sites, Primary Producers, Manufacturers and Rural Agri Business Suppliers throughout W.A.
  • Knowledge of Rural life and an empathy for their environment and issues they face
  • An understanding of Resins and FX, with a comprehension of the impact of fluctuating indices
  • The ability to build rapport with all people across all levels and backgrounds
  • The ability to identify and develop profitable new business opportunities constantly from within existing customers
  • The ability to strategically map the market to identify profitable new business opportunities and convert to successful sales
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and time management skills
