This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time and Casual appointments with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

P osition Profile: We are seeking to establish a pool of experienced individuals for the role of Registered Nurse, working with the Palliative Care Unit at Kalamunda Hospital. As part of a multidisciplinary team, successful applicants will provide comprehensive evidence based nursing care to patients, as well as facilitate and promote patient safety and quality of care. The Registered Nurse practices within their scope of practice considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery Board’s Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.

Area Profile: Kalamunda Hospital is a specialist hospital and is part of the Armadale Kalamunda Group. The hospital provides both day surgical procedures and a specialist inpatient palliative care service for patients in the east metropolitan area.

Eligibility to Apply: Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector.

Other Conditions: WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require applicants to undertake criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process. Referees may also be asked to comment on an applicant’s integrity and past demonstration of ethical behaviour.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 29 July 2022.
