The world of online / digital marketing and social media.... it is a complex, ever-changing landscape. It can be massively powerful, yet it is easy to get lost in the wealth of information floating around about what to do and how.

That's where you come in.....

Our client is a leading New York based Digital Marketing / Social Media agency looking to grow their presence in Australia. With clients already on the ground here, they are looking for an experienced and driven BDM to explore client opportunities and win new business.

They have risen to become one of the top digital marketing agencies in the US across their niches; in this pivotal role, you will engage with clients to really dig into what it is they are looking to achieve with digital marketing, develop strategies for them, and sell those strategies to bring new clients onboard. You will have the entire country to call on, with full creative input from an amazing team, and a very passionate leader who will do what it takes to help you be successful.

We're looking for someone who has solid Business Development experience, AND who has experience calling on any of the legal / medical / dental sectors.

If you have prior BD experience specifically selling digital / social... even better.

Obviously, we're looking for "the right kind of person" (isn't everyone?) but that means different things to different people... so to be more specific:

  • you are an experienced BDM - so you know how important activity is, and you are not afraid to do it
  • you have a solid network within, and experience selling to, clients in the legal / medical / dental or similar segments
  • an understanding of social media / digital marketing channels and platforms would be advantageous, but isn't imperative as training will be provided
  • you can develop a solution for a client, and sell it
  • your time management and organisational skills are great....
  • and so is your attitude; you're a genuine team player and lots of fun to have around the office

The role will pay a base salary of $80,000 - $100,000 + super + uncapped commissions, and is available for an immediate start.
