An amazing opportunity has just arisen for an Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join a growing Telecommunications Infrastructure & Civil Construction Business in their Port Melbourne Office. Having experienced long-term sustained growth they are now entering another growth phase and are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Office Manager to support the growth of their telco business.

Role
“The objective of the Office Manager/Bookkeeper is to provide accurate and efficient administration/bookkeeping and project support to the Directors/Project Teams.”

  • Support the day to day running of the business by managing correspondence and phone calls
  • Liaising with workers to ensure timesheets are recorded accurately and information recorded in Xero 
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly job reporting, including costs to complete, variations to budget and expected cashflows
  • Allocating work to crews, workplace inductions and providing documents as required to clients
  • General office management
  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable 

Rewards & Requirements
To secure this exciting opportunity we are seeking a candidate with strong bookkeeping experience, has excellent Xero skills, is proactive, has excellent attention to detail, good time management skills and can take ownership of the function. You will also need to have excellent communication, computer and presentation skills.
