Immediate opportunity for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Workshop Manager with a focus on Safety and Leadership

An exciting opportunity to join the Berrigan team as a Heavy Vehicle Workshop Manager on a full time basis. With a focus on safety and leadership, you will bring solid technical knowledge and a drive to provide continued improvement across the workshop and service team. Reporting to and working closely with the Director, you will have a positive apporach to leadership and mentoring of workshop staff.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Managing productivity and efficiency within the workshop and customer service department
  • Overseeing the overall service operations
  • Manage the financial aspects of the department and weekly reporting on same
  • Supervision and mentoring of workshop staff
  • Oversee servicing and testing of company vehicles, trailers and equipment

About You

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Qualified Diesel Mechanic or Automotive Technician
  • Ability to pick up new systems effectively and able to use MS Excel
  • HC or HR licence
  • Willing to work weekends where required
  • High level of organisation, administration and communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills
