Brunel are recruiting a Company Site Representative to work with our client onboard Contractor’s pipelay Vessel and in client’s Perth office.

  • Company Representative on the Contractors Pipelay Vessel.
  • Focal point for Contractors offshore representative on a day-to-day basis and during any emergency response.
  • Provide daily reporting function towards the URF Manager and URF Construction Lead.
  • Become thoroughly conversant with project documentation, specifications and procedures.
  • Bring to earliest attention of the URF Manager and URF Construction Lead any construction, installation or testing related issues which represent a threat to the URF Package and offer mitigating measures / work plan as deemed required.
  • Oversee all aspects of construction, installation and testing activities and ensure industry best-practice principles are applied to the Project.
  • Lead / participate in offshore Constructability, HAZID, Audits reviews, risk assessments and HSE walk downs, etc. as required by URF Manager and URF Installation Lead.
  • Co-ordinate with onshore discipline teams (Engineering and Installation teams) for the resolution of technical queries and/or Management of Changes.
  • Provide technical and team leadership to the Offshore team
  • Anticipate, identify and resolve detailed technical issues in an efficient and cost-effective manner
  • Promote HSE onboard, monitor HSE KPI’s and attend regular HSE walk-downs.

What you need to bring:

  • Tertiary schooling qualifications.
  • 15 years+ experience in general Offshore Construction / Installation activities and managing EPCI Contractors within the Oil and Gas industry.
  • The position requires offshore and engineering (procedure development) experience in offshore pipelay, CRA & carbon steel welding, FLET / ILT installation, and lifted subsea structure installation.
  • Proven track record holding similar positions with other projects.
  • Experience with managing an Offshore team of 6-8 personnel;
  • Experience with monitoring and enforcing Quality and HSES obligations as per Client requirements;
  • Experience in managing and enforcing Management of Change (MOC) procedures offshore
