About The Opportunity
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a major regional airport, owned and operated by Port Macquarie-Hastings Council (PMHC)

On a Typical Day Our Airport Technical Officer Would
- provide technical advice and guidance and develop operating manuals/procedures to ensure compliance with CASA standards
- provide customer service to airline passengers
- conduct aerodrome serviceability inspection
- oversee aviation security arrangements
- supervise airside works
- manage contractors, and
- carry out routine maintenance.
Within This Role You Will Have Access To

This is a full time, permanent role, with a starting salary of $1,197.80 per week with the opportunity of progression within the first 3 months, plus 9.5% superannuation. The role is 38 hour a week working on a 7 day roster.
An on call allowance will be payable where applicable.
About Councils Airport Team
The Airport serves the Greater Port Macquarie and wider Mid North Coast region, and caters for approximately 230,000 passengers per year, making it the 5th largest regional airport in NSW.
Council has recently completed a $10 million award winning terminal upgrade, providing a contemporary, comfortable and efficient facility and is currently planning the development of a 1200m code A parallel taxiway, with construction due to commence in July 2022.
The Airport is operated as a commercial business unit of PMHC, and is self-funded by revenue received from airport operations.
