Join a large FMCG processing facility to provide your expertise, in the efficiency and operating of blow fill lines, in a permanent role.

Our client is heading through a huge growth period and is hiring Process Technicians to continue to meet these growing requirements of the business, by assisting in the technical processes associated with blow mould lines.

As a Process Technician, you will work with our clients manufacturing operations team on their state of the art blow fill line providing technical and engineering expertise to ensure machinery is operating efficiently producing their world-class beverages.

Key Duties:
Drive preventative maintenance, continuous improvement and testing practices to validate line performance requirements
Operate machines on a daily basis including blow fill production
Preventative maintenance and breakdown assistance
Perform daily process area cleaning to maintain company compliance, GMP and HACCP standards
Conduct corrective action maintenance activities to ensure machine integrity and operating efficiency is maintained
Coaching and guiding colleagues
Perform asset management activities on the production line
Fault find and troubleshoot to reduce machine downtime
Conduct quality tests and calibrate machinery ensuring the product meets the high-quality standards expected
Work to a lean manufacturing methodology

This role will require working on a rotating 7 day, 12-hour shift day/night roster in a 4 day on, 3 days off scenario. Rosters will be provided to you in advance and you will only change around once a month. This roster type averages out to 36-38 hour working week and so is full time and a permanent role.


To be successfully considered for this position you will need to have the following:

Australian Citizen, permanent resident or on a long term visa with substantial work rights
Live within a 45-minute average travel time Ipswich- safety is number 1 for our client and fatigue will not be tolerated for these positions
Ability to pass a medical and health questionnaire to include, drug, alcohol testing and musculoskeletal, fitness testing
At least a certificate 3 in any relevant trade field, electrical or mechanical will be an advantage
Have prior experience in any type of factory manufacturing field- FMCG or pharmaceuticals will be certainly advantageous
Troubleshooting skills and the ability to use your initiative with an attentive to detail mindset
Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives
Excellent communication and a positive can-do attitude
Must be able to work across all shifts day, afternoon, nights from Monday to Sunday on the rotating roster
