We are currently seeking an Assistant Payroll Analyst to assist in all aspects of the RBA payroll operations.

You will be working within a team to ensure payroll is processed and reported in a timely manner to a high level of accuracy. Develop and maintain strong customer focused relationships with internal and external stakeholders providing accurate information, advice and assistance to employees on payroll matters.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain relevant HR and Payroll related data.
  • Ensuring your work is compliant with government legislation, PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation, RBA policies, processes and our Workplace Agreement
  • Ensure the accurate and efficient processing and delivery of fortnightly payroll
  • Compile data and information on a range of workforce data requests.
  • Provide HR and the Bank with timely, high-quality data and information that can be used to support business decision making.

Your background

  • Experience in an-end-to-end payroll processing function
  • Knowledge of a payroll processing system (preferably Peoplesoft)
  • Excellent organisation, time-management, and problem solving skills
  • Experience with electronic document and records management system: TRIM.
  • Knowledge and experience of Payroll Legislation and compliance: PAYG, Payroll Tax, FBT, ETP and Superannuation
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information is essential.
