Jacobs’ Heritage Consulting Team includes a diverse mix of archaeologists, heritage architects and cultural heritage advisors with extensive experience in State and Federal government sectors and environmental consulting. Our team has experience working across Australia with team members based in several offices around the country. The team operates in a dynamic, fast paced environment with a focus on technical excellence, innovation, collaboration and client service.

We’re seeking an experienced Associate level Archaeologist/ Heritage Advisor to provide technical and professional leadership, project management and business development support within our Cultural Heritage team in Melbourne. You will lead and contribute to identifying, sourcing and winning opportunities by building strong relationships with clients and industry partners. You will lead and contribute to proposals; lead and support the delivery of Aboriginal heritage and historical heritage projects; lead project portfolios, supervise and undertake Aboriginal heritage assessments, significance assessments and cultural heritage management plans. Based in Melbourne, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of cultural heritage projects across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll mentor junior staff, nurturing new technical experts and leaders. You’ll grow your career as you interact with key clients to grow our business, and we’ll provide you with the tools and support to do so. #ANZEnviro

  • Extensive experience in Cultural Heritage consulting
  • Extensive technical experience in archaeology and cultural heritage management
  • Excellent report writing skills

  • Open Drivers License
  • Registered Aboriginal Heritage Advisor with Aboriginal Victoria
