Based in Launceston or Hobart

The Opportunity
The role will develop, grow and manage a University-wide sensitive approach to securing and managing bequests and Gifts in Wills, provide strategic direction and undertake the coordination of priorities and administration pertaining to this critical area of philanthropy.
Key Accountabilities:
Develop and manage a comprehensive and successful bequest and Gifts in Wills programme for the University.
Ensure the top prospects and pipeline for bequests are effectively managed, involving the identification, engagement and solicitation of bequest prospects.
Devise and implement a stewardship programme for confirmed bequestors.
Devise and implement a growth strategy for gifts arising from bequests, including identifying potential funding opportunities.
Your Application
To be successful in the role, your application will need to demonstrate;
Experience in bequest fundraising and the key issues related to bequest and Gift in Wills programs to deliver a successful programme for the University.
Experience and the achievement of financial results in a fundraising setting or similar environment.
Evidence of outstanding levels of interpersonal skills for communicating, negotiating and building relationships with donors.
Excellent public speaking skills and experience in presenting and interacting confidently with a diverse audience.
Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 7 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $112,425 comprising base salary within the range of $87,423 to $96,090 plus 17% superannuation (pro rata).
