About the Opportunity

The IT Support Officer, Justice Technology Services (JTS) is responsible for supporting a range of secure 24x7 information systems and services relied on by South Australia’s police, public prosecutions, corrections, child protection, court and other related services to help maintain law, order and safety in SA.

The IT Support Officer is responsible for:

  • Operating the JTS (JIRA) Service Desk
  • Supporting production applications, integrations and environment, by providing issue tracking, advice and resolution.
  • Ensuring all issues are adequately documented, communicated, escalated and resolved in a timely manner.

Special Conditions for Employment

Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested. Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD.
  • Some out of hours work may be required.
  • Availability for rostered 'on-call' out of normal business hours will be required.
