  • Staff Position
We are one of the largest thermal coal mines operating in Australia. Located in the southern Bowen Basin, in Central Queensland some consider us remote, while others enjoy the freedom and sense of community. In our fifteen years of operating we’ve developed a safe, dynamic and growing environment that thrives on continuous improvement. With us, no job or day is the same, and we never miss an opportunity to share, learn and improve. We are a hands-on team who all pitch in to get the job done. Our culture promotes flexibility, communication and teamwork to improve the skills of each and every person on the mine site, every day.

Reporting to the Medium & Long Term Planning Superintendent, you will assume responsibility for designs and plans to support the three to twelve month phase of the planning process, working closely with the long and short term engineers. You will coordinate and work with other departments, tying in all aspects of mine planning to ensure timely delivery of safe, efficient and practical mine plans. This is a key leadership role within the business which offers brilliant longer term career opportunity and candidates with the extensive experience may be considered for a senior role.

You will have a tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering and/or demonstrated practical experience in a similar role. If you value achievement, career progression and a challenge, and are keen to continue to develop and learn, we welcome your application.

For further information about this role, please contact Michael Munro 0413 384 986.
