ABOUT US
Duratec is an ASX listed project-based contractor offering a full range of remediation services with more than 15 branches across Australia servicing the Defence, Mining, Oil and Gas, Industrial and Marine industries along with Government assets and Commercial Infrastructure including Heritage buildings.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to an expanding portfolio of awarded contracts, we are currently seeking an experienced HSE Officer to join our growing Launceston based team. The role will primarily be responsible for supporting the Operations Manager with all areas of HSE activity including tender administration, management plans, reporting, project work and administration of the INX incident reporting system. In addition, the role will support our site supervisors and will include a split of 60% office based and 40% site-based work.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
Administration of the InControl INX Software system
Support and assist with tender submissions and HSE Management plans
Provide support and administration assistance
Moderate the incidence and non-conformance process
Site visits to undertake HSE task inspections/observations
Attend client meetings when required in a supporting role, eg. minute taking
Assist departments with the develop and review of SWNS and JSEAs
ABOUT YOU
Along with demonstrated experience in a previous HSE Administration role, you will have:
A recognised Health Safety and Environment qualification
Previous experience with a HSE reporting system - INX experience is a definite advantage
High attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication including the ability to develop positive and rewarding stakeholder relationships at all levels
Knowledge of WHS legislation, standards, and practices
A can do, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Current Drivers Licence and ability to travel to project sites
