About the Roles

You will join our team of ecologists, GIS specialists, planners, engineers & other environmental scientists working on infrastructure projects throughout Queensland

You will be involved in designing investigations, conducting field surveys, sampling & monitoring, interacting with clients, preparing reports & plans to minimise impacts

You will work with Indigenous People to protect their land & sea country

You will work on projects in tourism, Defence, agriculture, heavy industry, mining, civil construction, ports, urban development & renewable energy

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:

A genuine love for working outdoors, a positive can-do attitude & enjoy working in a team environment

Degree level qualifications in Ecology, Biology, Botany, Zoology, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Science, Chemistry or related field

Over five years professional environmental experience

Excellent communication skills

Willingness to travel for field work

Demonstrated problem solving abilities

Common sense & ability to think on your feet

A dedication to working safely & seeking smarter ways of doing things

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft suite of programs

Australian Citizenship & driver's licence

Desirable

Previous experience working in construction, consulting, government, Defence, industry or mining

Knowledge of Commonwealth & Queensland environmental legislation and approvals

Manual driver's licence

White card, First Aid, 4WD certificates
