We’re searching for a visionary leader to lead HubSpot’s Small Business sales organization in Sydney. Working directly with the APAC Head of Sales, you will be responsible for managing and accelerating the growth of the current Small Business sales segment. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven sales leader to join a high-growth company, and help build a multi-product business as we continue to evolve into a unified front office platform company. In this role, you will also implement our world-class sales methodology within your team and coach and develop your sales managers to help ensure their teams achieve their monthly revenue and growth goals. In addition, you will work closely with the ANZ executive management team, marketing team, sales training team and recruiting team on helping drive regional and global company initiatives and deliver overall business success.

In This Role, You’ll Get To

  • Inspire, lead, and drive the sales team to meet or exceed all sales and bookings goals, and other expectations established by executive leadership
  • Deliver expectations and manage individual and team performance
  • Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue
  • Drive, support and influence the Small Business strategy, and sales/marketing alignment initiatives.
  • Be accountable for business growth and achieving overall metrics (revenue, retention, budget, customer and employee satisfaction etc.)
  • Work collaboratively with other Sales leaders and cross-functionally with other leaders to ensure alignment across businesses that will lead to the Small Business segment’s success
  • Inspire and support sales managers to enable their teams meet monthly goals
  • Attract and grow the best sales talent across Australia through effective recruiting, selecting and training methods
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of Inbound and HubSpot
  • Demonstrate HubSpot’s core values and foster an inclusive team culture
  • Willing to travel (5-10% of time) to visit partners in ANZ, Cambridge HQ and off-site visits - any travel asks will always be mindful of individuals’ personal or domestic commitments

The Successful Candidate Will Have
  • 10+ years of experience in a sales management role, ideally in a global, scaling tech company. SaaS experience is also valuable but not a requirement.
  • A proven ability to think strategically and collaborate with leadership to define and implement successful sales programs
  • An entrepreneurial and curious spirit with initiative and drive to pursue new ideas
  • Has a bias to action
  • Demonstrated experience owning and leading projects to successful outcomes
  • Strong track record of using data to inform decision making
  • Successful track record of managing managers and the associated organisation under them
  • Strong coaching and people management skills - ability to motivate, guide and lead a team towards successful outcomes while maintaining high employee morale

This role can be based in Sydney, or alternatively remote across Australia.
