We are currently looking for a trade qualified Maintenance Officer who is a self-motivated, pragmatic team player who thrives off a fast-paced environment and wants to be a part of a rapidly growing Australian company!

About the Job:
Do you have Plant Maintenance experience? Are you looking for a commitment to an ongoing role? Feel like a sea change? If this sounds like you - Read On.Due to an expansion within our maintenance team, we currently have a full-time role available for a Maintenance Officer to join our Dover team.

This hands-on role is based at our picturesque Dover site in beautiful Southern Tasmania.

Working in conjunction with our Maintenance Manager and an outstanding team, the successful applicant will have a diverse and exciting range of duties and will suit a self-motivated and technically minded individual who is able to work independently and within a team. Your responsibility will include break downs, diagnose and repair equipment and ensure equipment is serviced and maintained to achieve maximum reliability with minimum downtime.

About you:
To be successful in this role, you must be a self-motivated team player who has a passion for hands on work and a commitment to safety in line with our Zero Harm culture. Working with a knowledgeable team, you will be highly organised and capable of applying Tassal's Work, Health and Safety System to our Salmon Processing Operations.

Our ideal candidate:
Has a trade qualification (highly desirable)
Proactive and independent, with a commitment to continuous improvement
Has Excellent communication skills
Passionate about maintenance and being part of a growing team
Aware and mindful of workplace health and safety protocols
Physically fit
Has a current drivers' licence
