We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Farm Attendant to join our high-performing dynamic team operating out of Strahan on the West Coast of Tasmania.
About the job
In this role you will work with a multi-skilled crew based at Strahan. This position involves actively ensuring the feed infrastructure is operating efficiently and effectively. This is a family friendly roster of 7 days on 7 days off.
This role undertakes a wide variety of physical tasks on the water, including rigging checks, rope tying, monitoring of fish behaviour, maintenance on feed equipment and pens and various general labouring duties on the water.
About you
To be successful in this role you will need to:
Be Physically fit and strong
Be Enthusiastic and reliable team player
Enjoy being on the water
Have the right to work full time in Australia
Successfully pass an alcohol and drug test and pre-employment medical
Current drivers’ licence
Coxswain ticket with Diesel Endorsement (desirable but not essential)
Forklift ticket (desirable but not essential)
First Aid (desirable but not essential)
