The Position

St John of God Midland Public & Private Hospitals has a total of 367 beds, 307 for public patients and 60 for private patients, is conveniently located within one complex, bringing health care closer to home. First class, contemporary facilities and our distinctive compassionate care will greatly contribute to a healthy future for the people of Midland and surrounding communities.

At St John of God Midland, you will be exposed to a wide variety of medical case-mix appropriate to your stage of training. With several Visiting Medical Specialists, you will have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from leading Medical Consultants.

Expand your skills, knowledge, and confidence as a Registrar - General Medical, commencing in August 2021 for a six (6), twelve (12) month or eighteen (18) month fixed-term full time or part time contract. This is an excellent opportunity for Registrars looking to gain experience within a hospital that offers a supportive working environment with exposure to various procedures.

The Requirements

  • A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
  • Eligible for Provisional or General registration as a medical practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • A minimum of 3 years clinical experience as a RMO with medical experience
  • Proven highly developed interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrates verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate clinical and procedural experience commensurate with clinical responsibilities of Registrar.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Promote a positive safety culture.
