The role is part of Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries within the Commercial Bank and is responsible for managing relationships with public and private companies focusing on clients in the mid-cap segment. This group provides traditional corporate banking products as well as investment banking products to its clients. Our business partners include product specialists from Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, M&A, Treasury Services, Risk Management and Private Banking. This position reports into the Head of CCBSI Australia.

The Team Assistant will support the Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries Team, supporting Relationship Executives and contributing to the broader team. Your responsibilities will be varied, requiring judgment and experience to successfully accomplish tasks with limited direct supervision.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the calendars of the team's Relationship Executives and work effectively with other administrators and meeting participants to efficiently and effectively schedule meetings
  • Keep track of invoices and processing of expense claims and related record-keeping
  • Coordinate staff onboarding and off boarding which includes requesting equipment setup and system access
  • Assist in preparing reports, spreadsheets and presentations, applying skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Provide general office management such as space arrangements/real estate and ordering supplies/equipment
  • Work cooperatively with other administrative assistants in positive partnership to back each other up smoothly
  • Provide general support including photocopying, booking meeting rooms and ordering supplies

To be successful you will need:
  • At least three years of relevant administrative experience in financial or professional services
  • Proven experience with calendar management, time and expense management support, meeting coordination and meeting support planning
  • Strong PC skills (proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to generate high quality emails and messages to individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and discretion in handling confidentiality and sensitive topics
