Peanut Butter Jelly is a popular street food restaurant and bar based in Manly. We specialise in providing customers with a superior customer experience with quality food, unique drinks and casual, welcoming and efficient customer service.

We are looking for a part time Restaurant Supervisor.

The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the efficient running of the restaurant. Someone who is able to lead as well as work as part of a team. You will deliver high quality food & drinks, whilst coaching and motivating our staff to provide excellent customer service.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need management skills and experience. You will oversee the dining floor, the bar and the kitchen , as you’ll recruit staff in all of these areas.

You will also check-in with customers to ensure a superior experience in being provided, set work schedules for staff members, oversee food prep and make sure we comply with health and safety restaurant regulations.

We’ll expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have a pleasant dining experience.

Main Tasks include:

Recruiting, training and supervising staff

Ensuring compliance with licensing, health and safety legislation/guidelines

Overseeing stock levels

Ordering stock for bar and overseeing kitchen ordering

Producing staff rosters in accordance to budget

Handling customer enquiries and complaints

Taking reservations

Greeting and serving customers

Liaising with customers, employees and suppliers

Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant.

You will need:

Teamwork skills.
