Conveyancing Assistant

$60,000 - $70,000 p.a.

Do you have a passion for working in a busy support role supporting a team of Conveyancers or in a Property Administration role?
This is a great opportunity for an experienced File Manager to handle conveyancing files with minimal supervision working for 3 days per week (Mondays Wednesday and Thursday with some flexibility) in the CBD of Adelaide.
This role offers a supportive work environment with a family-operated South Australian Conveyancing business. Work in a varied and fast paced role and the opportunity for a long term position for the right candidate. Hours are 9am to 5.30pm with some flexibility.
Responsibilities for this role involve:
Handling Conveyancing files autonomously with minimal supervision except when required
Assisting Conveyancing with settlements and Form 1 preparation
Dealing with customers and assisting with managing phone calls whilst providing exceptional customer care to valued clients
Working with a high level of attention to detail in a fast paced environment using CATS and PEXA systems to process property lodgement and settlement.
Liaising with clients in a professional manner
Dealing with file management of residential and commercial settlements,
Preparing and drafting documents such as Form 1 Vendor Statements, Contract of Sale, division documents and Torrens Title and Community Title
Applicants must be well presented, professional, personable, self-motivated and experienced in working in a fast-paced conveyancing or real estate office in a similar role.
