About The Role

NSW Telco Authority is looking for a Procurement Manager. You will be accountable for the Authority’s end to end sourcing process in the major infrastructure program - CCEP. Your typical day will involve managing multiple market engagements, working closely with business stakeholders to understand their sourcing needs and managing negotiations, contract awards and transition over to contract management. You will provide commercial advice to stakeholders and maintain overall ownership for the procurement process in a complex environment. You will be working on a major project that is shaping the Government Radio Network for years to come!

About You

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional, ideally from a technology industry with a strong understanding of Government processes and frameworks in sourcing. You will have significant experience working with complex procurement environments and be able to guide a wide range of stakeholders through the commercial process to achieve the best outcome for the business. You will be resilient, adaptable, collaborative and above all have a high level of integrity. We work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment where priorities can change quickly. In addition the scope of our work carries a high level of scrutiny in the sector.

You will be a self-starter with the ability to build relationships (internally and with suppliers) and have demonstrated success in planning and prioritising complex procurements with high level of attention to detail.

This is an opportunity to manage large value tenders, contract negotiations and contracts that make a difference to the citizens of NSW. You will have the opportunity to influence a wide range of internal stakeholders with diverse priorities and expectations, to achieve a cohesive approach to procurement.

Salary Grade 11/12, with the base salary ranging from $128,078 to $148,578
