Full Job Description
Render World is currently looking for an apprentice solid plasterer to join our team.
Working with qualified and skilled solid plasterers you will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and support.
We specialise in all aspects of plastering, plaster repairs and external cladding including renovations, commercial sites and new homes.
Duties will involve:
Use of solid plastering tools and equipment.
Use of carpentry/cladding tools and equipment.
Fix battens, wet area sheets, fibre cement board, Hebel, Foam Panel & external light weight cladding
Prepare surfaces for plastering.
Apply basic leveling procedures.
Apply acrylic renders and texture coat.
Apply cement render.
Apply hard plaster to internal walls.
To be successful you will need to have the following:
Be a confident communicator, self-motivated, proactive and willing to learn.
A high level of attention to detail, with a genuine interest in the plastering industry.
Be trustworthy and reliable and hard working.
Be a team Player.
Driver’s licence and reliable transport
Preferred but not essential:
Previous experience in plastering desirable
A white card
Own tools
Within this role you will be employed full-time and complete a solid plastering apprenticeship and gain a nationally recognized qualification.
