About the Role

An exciting Part-Time opportunity for a technically skilled individual with strong communication skills to succeed in a fast-paced role, developing solutions and providing support across numerous business systems.

This role has a primary focus on ensuring all IT End User systems such as SOE, approved software catalogue, software updating, security patching and antivirus systems are implemented and maintained to the highest positive standard to support Coliban Water's business needs.

The End User System Administrator will provide 2nd tier service desk support and acts as the primary escalation point for 1st tier support agents, in which you will provide proactive guidance, support and mentoring.

Key responsibilities:

  • Escalation of IT incidents and problems to support timely resolutions of service desk tickets.
  • Improvements to the overall end user experience to reduce service desk queue times and increase speed accuracy of resolutions.
  • Actively engage with staff and provide education on how to efficiently use Coliban Water's IT systems.
  • End User Management - Maintenance of telephony infrastructure, controlled print solutions and mobile device management solutions.
  • Manage the configuration, continuous improvement and deployment of workstation antivirus solutions.
  • Manage centralised configurations, such as within SCCM, and Group Policies that enable effective function of End User Systems.
  • Take a lead role in the design, development, deployment, roll out and continuous improvement of the Workstation SOE.
  • Research, recommend and play a lead role in designing changes to any aspect of the SOE or related infrastructure and systems.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of two years' experience in administering centralised systems within standardised Microsoft Widows Active Directory environment.
  • Proven experience in 2nd tier technical support role.
  • Highly developed skills in fault identification, root cause analysis and problem resolution
  • Ability to recognise and implement process improvements
  • Ability to plan and organise to ensure quality and output of work is achieved in accordance with best practice standards
  • Experience as a member of work teams that achieve objectives and high levels of performance
  • A current Victorian Driver's Licence

Salary

The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2017 Band 3 Salary will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
