HR Business Partners provides strategic people advice and closely partner with senior business leaders to drive leading people strategies and optimize business performance.
Do work that matters:
The purpose of this role is to provide outstanding service, excellent advice and intuitive solutions to help our senior leaders build and maintain an effective workforce, performing at its best. You should also actively champion and drive utilisation of employee and manager self-service of HR services, policies and procedures.
The role will report to the Executive General Manager HR RBS and your day to day duties will include:
Drive a business relevant and aligned people agenda
Partner with the business & GM HR to set a relevant people strategy that enables the business goals and drives engagement and competitive advantage now and for the future
Develop and deploy 12-18 month people strategies and plans to support the achievement of the BU people strategy
Prepare business cases for prioritisation of the key people initiatives
Leader partnering and advice
Build credibility and trust with senior leaders as an advisor who provides quality advice and constructively challenges to drive enhanced stakeholder outcomes
Proactively coach leaders and provide strategic guidance on complex people management issues and strategies (e.g. talent mobility, change, and widespread capability building)
Leverage standard people reporting to derive data insights and actions that drive business success
Triage regulatory and compliance requests via People Solutions team, Workforce Analytics and relevant COEs provide ensure timely and accurate responses
Build workforce capability, talent, leadership and culture
Partner with the business to ensure that talent is being optimally managed ensuring that they are building, buying and/or developing critical workforce capabilities required now and for the future
Partner with senior business leaders to coach and develop best in class leaders to drive our culture and to effectively engage and lead our people
Partner with various HR teams as required
Drive business transformation and re-organisation
Act as a ‘change leader’ partnering with business leaders on business transformation design
Engage and partner effectively with the People Solutions team to operationalise organisational re-designs
We're interested in hearing from people who have:
10+ years of experience in Human Resources, with 5+ years as HR Business Partner
High calibre advisory, communication and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to influence senior leaders and build trust and commitment
Strong commercial acumen and business knowledge
Ability to understand and interpret business data and strategy
Proven ability to manage competing and complex tasks
Strong analytical and problem solving skills that create insight
Track record of effectively advising and coaching leaders on key business and strategic HR drivers
Successful design and implementation of strategic and transformational people initiatives
