Pax Australia, located in Ingleburn, is a lead producer of fast-moving consumer goods. 

With extensive mixing, filing and warehousing capabilities to cater for a wide range of product formats, the factory specialises in the manufacturing of Aerosol and Liquid products for use in personal care, therapeutic, industrial and household categories for the domestic and export market.

About the Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Receiving Clerk to join the team on the day shift.

This is a great opportunity for an ASAP start within a busy team.

It is essential that you have prior experience within a comparable Receiving role that demonstrates exposure to Production and Warehouse settings.

The role requires a team player with the ability to execute tasks and assignments with a high level of accuracy to meet deadlines, whilst ensuring production needs are met in a coordinated effort with team members.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a high level of accuracy with all paperwork, Movex and system requirements
  • Allocate work for Receiving personnel
  • Arrange for the return of Held / rejected Goods to suppliers
  • Conduct daily checks of warehouse supplies
  • Write up of miscellaneous receipts – Held Goods Notices and Returned for Credits
  • Operation of forklift as required
  • Regularly check warehouse for safe stacking and rack storage
  • Arrange for cleanup of spills + incident report + stock adjustment
  • Ensure forklift drivers under command complete daily “Pre-shift Forklift startup check sheets”
  • Arrange for return of Recyclable cartons, and back load pallets, pads and frames
  • Maintain “Delivery time slots” so as to maximize efficiency and minimize wait
  • Ensure deliveries meet our appearance standard
  • Ensure subcontract work is QA released in a timely manner
  • Monitor raw material samplers and ensure samples are being collected and distributed in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide clear and concise communication with Warehouse staff and other Pax management and personnel
  • Writing, implementing, revising and training of SOPs, OPLs, Modules and other training aids
  • Conduct training for all operators, ensure competency and liaise with Pax training department to log training into Pax database
  • Deliver Toolbox talks to personnel and monitor outcomes
  • Responsible for enforcing a high standard of housekeeping, GMP and safe work practices in all warehouse areas
  • Develop and encourage a culture of continuous improvement through operator engagement.
  • Project work as allocated
  • Perform other duties as requested or assigned

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualified within a related discipline, preferably degree level
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a prior Leading Hand role in a comparable Production and Warehouse setting
  • Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Display competency in the use of computer systems and MS office suite
  • Demonstrate leadership and foster teamwork
  • Be able to withstand a fast-paced environment
  • Hold a valid Forklift licence with recent driving experience
  • Show attention to detail and adherence to quality standards
