The Team

Our national Client & Market Growth (CMG) team at MinterEllison is a critical component of the firm and essential to the firm's success. The team supports the partnership by providing the full spectrum of business development and marketing services to ensure the firm develops and maintains strong relationships with new and existing clients.

Your Role

Our successful team is recruiting a Consultant ready to take the next step OR an experienced Manager on a 12 month contract.

Your responsibilities include
  • Working within a Clients and Markets Growth team to drive pipeline and revenue opportunities. This includes assessing sales opportunities and formulating responses to clients. The role will work collaboratively with the firm’s Major Pursuits and Tenders team and Industry teams.
  • Support the growth of business development skills across the legal practitioners in the group
  • Execute marketing campaigns and events to assist with the firm’s global and domestic market positioning
  • Foster relationships both in the legal teams and broader CMG group that are collaborative, innovative and value adding and ensure high quality service delivery to CMC
  • Supporting the legal industry group achieve their revenue budget


More About You

On your first day, we expect you to have
  • At least 2 years' experience working within a similar role with legal or professional services experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of relevant market and industry sectors
  • Commercially focused with strong analytical, planning and project management skills
  • Business and BD planning and campaign development and execution
  • A proven ability to use influence and persuasion to achieve desired outcomes
  • Sound financial acumen and excellent communication skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, business or a related discipline
