Full time, permanent, Brisbane- BDM Role- salary at $80k plus super plus 20% bonus + vehicle.

Your new company
Our client is a successful not for profit based in Brisbane who works for the Government to fund a range of disability, employment related projects. This client receives their funding when they successfully engage commercial/corporate clients. The role we are hiring is for a full time only, permanent, Brisbane based Business Development Manager and the salary is fixed at $80k plus super plus 20% bonus plus company vehicle. Hours are 8-5pm but flexible to work from home as well as from multiple local office options.

Your new role
Reporting into a "Sales" Team Leader in your role as Business Development Manager you will engage corporate/commercial clients to use recommended providers for services in relation to disability & employment services. This role will involve working as part of a small "sales" team but working hand in hand with wider departments within the organisation. As pert of your role, you will map out & target large, corporate clients, identify relevant contact points and call, email and visit them to establish a relationship and solution sell and promote a possible government funded product into their business. You will then manage that relationship through the "sales" cycle until sign up, filling out relevant contract paperwork along the way before handing the account off to an Account Management team. There will also from time to time be networking/ events to run and attend (sometimes after hours) as part of the promotion of the services. This role has KPI's however it is not your typical sales role and your performance will not be monitored on monetary, your bonus which is highly achievable is paid quarterly for completion of some soft activity targets.


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will be an experienced sales professional with experience of managing a full sales cycle and be able to solution sell. Excellent communication and presentations skills are essential. Good organisational and admin skills are a must. Ideally you will have had sales experience from working within an agency side recruitment role or in a similar business development / account management role in the wider NFP space. Alternatively you may be a sales professional looking to move into a less pressured environment but still enjoy client engagement.
