Leading Northern Beaches Construction Company requires experienced Carpenters to join our dynamic team of Carpenters.

A Leading Northern Beaches Building Company Specialising in First Floor Additions, can provide the right candidates with regular consistent work.

Be part of a friendly experienced team you will be responsible for maintaining a high quality standard of work throughout our projects and be a team player.

Carpentry certificate 3 essential.

Own work vehicle and tools, plus WHS, white card and own workers comp.

Contract length: 12 months

Part-time hours: 40 per week

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Salary: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• No weekends

Experience:

• construction: 3 years (Preferred)
• Carpentry: 3 years (Preferred)

Licence:

• White Card (Preferred)

Job Duties:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints to understand materials required and installation process
• Communicating with clients to understand requirements and respond to change orders
• Repairing existing fittings or structures
• Managing a team, dividing and assigning tasks as necessary
• Training apprentices and/or coworkers
• Identifying and recommending solutions
• Ensuring adherence to building codes and regulations
• Ensuring adherence to local job site safety rules and regulations
• Effectively utilising different types of wood based on adaptability
• Effectively utilising methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry
